Hi.

Growing up in Omaha, Nebraska shaped how I build—practical, grounded, and intentional.

Throughout childhood, I was always experimenting, taking things apart, rebuilding, improving.

Curiosity took many forms.

Curiosity took
many forms.

At one point, it meant repeatedly recreating the classic baking soda volcano experiment, and experimenting with various other liquids.

My mother, anticipating the potential lethality, made me memorize the poison control number on the fridge.

The next fixation was the school computer lab. That’s where I first encountered the Macintosh.

The Macintosh changed things.

It allowed me to create in a way that felt precise and repeatable. I could make something once, refine, duplicate, then share it.

I didn’t have the language for it then, but I was already thinking about designing in systems; thinking about how things are made, and how they’re used.

Whether it’s a product, interface, or something simple — the goal is the same: clarity, ease, and intention.

I’m drawn to the details most people don’t notice,

the ones that make something feel intuitive.

Good design doesn’t demand attention. It quietly shapes how we live,

making things easier

and a little more joyful :)
